Greenwich and Blackheath are the principle areas of operation for Greenwich Property. Often referred to as the "golden postcodes", this historically affluent area of South-East London has long been recognised as the greenest of the London Boroughs. Set on the river Thames, Greenwich has a long and illustrious past boasting some architectural masterpieces in the National Maritime Museum, the Queens House and the Naval College. There is also a wealth of beauty in the elegance and sense of proportion found in the residential architecture from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. World famous for the Observatory and Meridian line, Greenwich Royal Park has stunning views over the City of London. Next to it lays the open spaces and equally splendid architecture of Blackheath. What makes the area so special is that the high quality architecture is not limited to a few tiny pockets. The area has also benefited from large-scale regeneration - most notably the building of the Dome and more importantly, last year, the completion of Docklands Light Railway and Jubilee Line establishing excellent connections with the centre of London.
